1. Using OrBible
By accessing or using the OrBible mobile app, web dashboard, and online services (orbible.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not access or use OrBible.
You must be at least 13 years old to register an account. Church leaders and administrators must ensure that their account credentials remain confidential and are responsible for all activity conducted through their accounts.
2. Acceptable use
OrBible is dedicated to fostering Scripture meditation and community spiritual growth. You agree not to misuse our services, including:
- Creating or distributing playlists containing profane, hateful, defamatory, or abusive content.
- Attempting to probe, scan, breach, or compromise our software systems, APIs, or database integrity.
- Using automated scripts, scraping bots, or spam techniques to flood shared playlists, feedback channels, or church codes.
- Misrepresenting yourself as an authorized representative of a church or ministry.
We reserve the right to review reported content, remove public playlist links, and suspend accounts that violate these terms.
3. Bible translations and licensed content
The Scripture verses rendered in OrBible are drawn from historical, licensed, or public domain translations (including the King James Version - KJV). All rights and trademarks in copyrighted translations belong to their respective publishers and copyright owners. Verse texts in OrBible are provided solely for personal devotion, meditation, and church engagement.
4. Our brand and content
All original design elements, logos, artwork, software, audio presentation frameworks, and documentation comprising OrBible are the exclusive intellectual property of OrBible and its creators. You may not copy, reverse engineer, republish, or commercialize any portion of our platform without prior written authorization.
5. Churches and group administration
Churches registered on OrBible represent that their registration is genuine and submitted by an authorized ministry leader. Church administrators agree to:
- Ensure member invitations are sent only to individuals who have consented to receive church communications.
- Respect the privacy of congregation members; church dashboards provide aggregated engagement totals only.
- Promptly remove former team members or revoke credentials when roles change.
6. Patrons and payments
Patron contributions help keep OrBible free and supported worldwide. Online giving is processed securely through Paystack. Monthly patron gifts renew automatically according to the cycle selected, and you may modify or cancel your subscription at any time via the link in your payment receipt or by contacting support@orbible.com.
7. Availability and updates
While we strive for 24/7 uptime and dependable notifications, OrBible is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Notification delivery depends on mobile operating system battery management, sleep routines, and device network conditions. We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
8. Liability and governing law
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OrBible, its founders, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without giving effect to conflicts of laws principles.
